What can we do as a community to collectively assure the
conditions for people to be healthy? We know that the poor,
geographically vulnerable, the politically weak and other disadvantaged groups are most affected by health disparities.
Do you often feel powerless about what is happening in your community? Come break the cycle of self limitation as we examine some social determinants of health and identify ways that communities can advance resilience to disparities through taking personal and collective action.

This workshop is sponsored by the Ben and Jerry’s foundation & Green Guerrillas and is part of a 6 part workshop series which addresses health disparities in the community.
