Commonwealth Club Silicon Valley Presents: The Blueseed Project: Seasteading Off the Coast of Silicon Valley May 21, 2012

Projected to be the first floating city in international waters, The Blueseed Project is dedicated to harvesting entrepreneurship by creating a place where the world’s top tech minds can collaborate. 12 miles off the coast of Northern California, residents would not be subject to work visa limitations. Called the “Google-plex of the Sea”, The Blueseed Project is awakening a host of complex issues including immigration policy, visa limitations, international policy, social entrepreneurship and more.
