Comix is proud to announce Cross Grooves, a new jazz music series featuring Barry Levitt and an eclectic evening of jazz, funk, vocals, dance and spoken word.
Webster’s Dictionary defines “groove” as: (1) a situation suited to one’s abilities or interests, (2) an enjoyable or exciting experience, or (3) a pronounced enjoyable rhythm. We define it as all of the above.
Comix was designed as a broadcast-ready, acoustically-tuned showroom created by SIA Acoustics’ Sam Berkow - a lead acoustical designer Jazz @ Lincoln Center, The Jazz Standard and Hard Rock Live. Why let such a great sound stage go unnoticed? Premiering on Monday, October 8th at 8:00 and 10:00 PM, Cross Grooves will feature the talents of:
