COMIX ACADEMY ANNOUNCES NEW SEMINAR “THE BUSINESS OF COMEDY”

NEW YORK, NY – The Comix Academy announces a new one day intensive seminar, The Business of Comedy, to help comedians and producers improve their skills on the business side of show business.

Under the tutelage of publicist and comedy business expert, Kambri Crews, The Business of Comedy will teach you how to better market yourself, build a fan base, brand your product, and use technology to your advantage as well as teach you the difference between great and horrible web presences.

As owner of her own public relations firm, Ballyhoo Promotions, and Director of Publicity for the comedy night club Comix, Crews brings years of experience to the table when it comes to promoting an act or getting a show that coveted buzz -- both essential tools in bringing your comedy / entertainment career to the next level.

This one day seminar will be taught in Ochi’s Lounge (downstairs at Comix) and, as a special one-time offer, Crews will follow up the seminar with a half hour, one-on-one consultation, where under her watchful eye you’ll learn how to apply everything you just learned to your own material.
