Comic Strip Music Night -At -Jalopy June 7, 2009

Classic comic strips come to musical life for one night only. In the days before radio, comic strip characters were celebrated in songs published for home performance - songs rarely recorded and never performed since their heyday. At Jalopy, a host of talented musicians will re-enliven comic strip-based song-sheets. Performers will include Doug Skinner, Peter Stampfel, Robin Goldwasser & Chris Anderson and Meg Reichardt.
