“Comedy Bodega” is a free weekly stand-up comedy showcase, presenting the funniest women and men in the Bay Area and fueled by the energy of its’ Mission district location. Producer, performer and Mission habitue, Marga Gomez launched Comedy Bodega in January of 2012, because she felt the Mission needed more comedy and comedy needed more diversity. “Comedy Bodega” is located at “Esta Noche,” San Francisco’s only Latino gay bar. Every Thursday straight and gay comedians tell jokes on a stage that was built for drag queens. All shows are in English. Comedian line-ups change weekly and can be found at www.comedybodega.com
