The DC Improv Comedy Club is hosting a special local comedy showcase in our Comedy Lounge (please note this is not our main showroom). DC is notorious for launching the careers of such comedy greats as, Dave Chappelle, Lewis Black, Tommy Davidson and Wanda Sykes.

Featuring Comedians:

Rob Maher: Rob Maher is a two time finalist in Comedy Central's Laugh Riot Competition. He can be heard regularly on 98 Rock's Mickey, Amelia and Spiegel Morning Show and has worked with Frank Caliendo, Jeffrey Ross, Charlie Murphy, Pablo Francisco and Lewis Black. Last year, Rob had the honor of performing for our troops overseas. He did two tours with Armed Forces Entertainment performing all over Italy as well as Kyrgyzstan, Turkey and Egypt.

Jared Stern: Strangers laugh at him. Whether it's a crowd of 40, 400, or 4000, Jared is making audiences laugh up and down the east coast and beyond. His mild-mannered style and sardonic observations are the cornerstones of his act. Jared has worked with national headliners Jeff Ross, Louis CK, Richard Lewis, Bobby Slayton, and Judah Friedlander.

Herbie Gill: Herbie Gill is a DC area native whose entertaining sense of humor has been featured across the country. As a true student of the craft of comedy, audiences and fellow comedians alike notice Herbie's passion and dedication to stand up. Changing expectations and skewing stereotypes, this young comic can finesse any crowd with professionalism, style and wit. Herbie's hard work and knack for presenting fresh new material earned him appearances on many stages and programs, including XM Radio, Comcast Cable, and Local Point TV for ABC.

The DC Improv Comedy Lounge will be serving a full dinner menu and drinks. Doors open at 6:30 pm. Show is at 8 pm.
