Maria Bamford is quite a character with lots of characters, and this June you’ll get to see her headline Comix.
She is part of the very popular Comedians of Comedy, and has appeared on Late Night with Conan O’Brien, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and Jimmy Kimmel Live. In addition to having her own Comedy Central Presents, Maria has contributed voices for Nickelodeon cartoons including Charlotte’s Web, Hey Arnold, CatDog (in which she was a series regular) and the animated feature Barnyard. She’s also been seen marrying John Travolta in the feature film Lucky Numbers and teaching Jenna Elfman how to play the violin on the show Dharma and Greg.
You might have heard her most recent album “Unwanted Thoughts Syndrome”, or you might have seen her last holiday season in her very popular Target commercials, but you’ve most likely caught yourself trying to imitate her voices and failing.
