MIKE WALLY WALTER will be performing Tuesday November 4th through Saturday November 8th, 2008; Admission is $10. Mike Wally Walter IN HIS OWN WORDS:
I am a road dog! I have traveled the US working every little town, big city one-nighter gigs comedy has to offer. I have a reputation of being a consistently" funny comedian. I can work clean or blue but I always leave em laughing. The tour in Iraq was one of the most life changing experiences I have ever had and would go back in a minute. The look on the faces of ever soldier we performed for was the gratification of bringing something of "home" to them. The conversations after the performances was something else, Heartfelt thanks from them to us for coming over there. It made me proud to be an American.
As far as what I love about what I do? well my sense of humor got me through Cancer diagnosis and treatment, I have been cancer free since 1998, Comedy basically saved my life. I love making folks laugh..I don't have an agenda, a platform, or anything like that I just want to entertain people. I was the comedy star of "Showgirls" a large production show at Harrah's casino in Laughlin, Nevada, the show was done in a 450 seat theatre and sold out nightly, I got great reviews from the Laughlin Entertainer and sold a ton of CD's and DVD's while I was there.
I used to do Alaska about twice a year, I have performed in Anchorage, Wasilla, Fairbanks, Sitka, Yakitat, Juneau, Ketchikan, Craig, Dillingham and Kodiak. When I did Fairbanks and Dillingham Chris Titus was my opening act, in fact, Brian Poshen, Patton Oswalt, Greg Proops, Craig Gass, and Mitch Hedberg have all opened for me at one point in their careers.
