February 25th and 26th, Laughs Comedy Spot in Kirkland, WA welcomes comedian Marc Maron. Maron has been described as neurotic, a story teller, heady, cerebral, angry, brilliant, a problem, a cultural critic, a satirist, funny, and an important voice. So that being said, he is first and foremost a hilarious standup comic. You may know Marc from Air America, the Tonight Show, Letterman, or his over 10 appearances on Conan or maybe his Comedy Central special. If not, take this opportunity to laugh as you witness this wild cross between Woody Allen and Iggy Pop.

For over ten years, Marc Maron has been writing and performing raw, honest and thought-provoking comedy for print, stage, radio and television. A legend in the stand-up community, he has appeared on HBO, Conan, Letterman, his two Comedy Central Presents specials and almost every show that allows comics to perform. His podcast “WTF with Marc Maron” skyrocketed to #1 on the iTunes comedy charts and has been described as a “must listen” by Punchline Magazine. He is currently developing WTF for Comedy Central and can be seen later this year on the IFC Media Project. His book based on his solo show, The Jerusalem Syndrome: My Life as a Reluctant Messiah, is out of print and overpriced by vendors who think it might have some collectors value.

He is currently running a solo show based on his two divorces and anger problem called, ‘Scorching the Earth,” which Time Out NY described as “captivating... refreshing in its candor, and relatable.” His three CDs, “Not Sold Out”, “Tickets Still Available” and “Final Engagement” are comedy cult classics.
