Come Together for Peace July 12, 2006

The horrors of war remind us of the need to build a community to promote peace. So ICPJ will host Come Together for Peace on Nagasaki Day, at 6:30 p.m. at Island Park (1450 Island Park Drive) in Ann Arbor. We will begin with a potluck dinner. We'll have games for the kids, as well as story-telling, lantern boat making and peace crane folding. The evening will conclude with a lantern boat launch ceremony of remembrance for victims of war.
