Come Celebrate 50 Years with the Harry Ransom Center January 31, 2007

Join us on Wednesday, January 31 from 7-9 p.m. for a birthday party honoring the Harry Ransom Center's 50th anniversary.

Enjoy live music by Glovertango, hors d'oeuvres, birthday cake, and special gifts for those named "Harry" and those who will turn 50 in 2007.


Attendees can also dance the Charleston, sign a giant birthday card, compose a poem with oversized magnetic poetry, drop in for silent films in the theater, and more. Be among the first to see the new exhibition "The American Twenties," which explores the tumultuous decade through its art and literature. The birthday party is free and open to the public.
