Our early spring trip to Colorado is designed to capture lingering winter birds of the mountains and prairies as well as early returning migrants. Our birding destinations will include the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge, the Pawnee Grasslands, Rocky Mountain National Park, the Arapaho National Wildlife Refuge and the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. - - Among our many target species will be greater sage, sharptail and dusky grouse, sandhill cranes, Lewis' woodpeckers, mountain plovers, burrowing owls, and a variety of western warblers, sparrows, and finches, not to mention the region's big game: elk, moose, deer, and more. We've made special arrangements to reserve leks for early morning grouse sightings. Registration is required. Call 781-837-9400 for details.
