Colin Meloy is the lead singer of The Decemberists. Meloy is a first rate songwriter with a strange tenor voice and and a first rate acoustic guitarist - switching off between a 12 and 6-string throughout. Along with songs from his own band's repertoire, Meloy will sneak in some other material, including covers of some Morrissey songs, which Colin released as a tour-only EP earlier in 2005. Laura Gibson is a singer-songwriter from Portland, Oregon who specializes in playing a nylon-stringed guitar.
