The Japanese Canadian National Museum is proud to present the launch of the new publication, "Coldstream: The Ranch Where It All Began" ($28.95. ISBN 1-55017-343-X). Author Donna Yoshitake Wuest will share her experiences chronicling the fascinating history of Coldstream Ranch, located on the outskirts of Vernon, BC. Wuest grew up on the ranch, which was home to a tight-knit Japanese Canadian community at the time. In addition to stories of Japanese Canadians at Coldstream Ranch, Wuest explores the role of the ranch in the history of the British Columbia orchard and cattle industries. Join us for exciting tales of life at one of the oldest continually operating ranches in Canada.
