Formed in 1998 the London-based, Brit-pop quartet Coldplay features Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman and Will Champion. They made quite an impression in the U.S. with its 2000, full-length debut album, 'Parachutes,' and repeated the feat with their 2002 sophomore effort, 'A Rush of Blood to the Head.' The band's third release in 2005, 'X&Y,' earned them #1 debuts in 22 countries worldwide. Now, Coldplay's latest is 'Viva La Vida,' which strives to be their most adventurous effort to date.
