Celebrate Mother's Day and Spring with unique, handmade art glass in a spectacular garden setting at Cohn-Stone Studios' Mothers' Day Garden Tea and open studio sale. Visitors have an opportunity to pick a lasting and affordable work of hand-made art glass in time for Spring and Mother's Day. The Mediterranean-style garden at Cohn-Stone Studios, opened twice a year by coveted invitation, is in bloom and full of affordable and elegant hand-made art glass treasures including many new items such as peaches from 8" to 16", giant heirloom tomatoes from 8" to 15", golden delicious apples from 8" to 16", giant flowers--red, orange, yellow and white poppies 12"and sunflowers too---available to display in the garden or in the home. Cohn-Stone Studios has been working on pieces for exhibition at the Atlanta Botanical Garden in conjunction with their new Edible Garden. The public can stroll the gardens, enjoy some tea and goodies and choose an art glass family heirloom of tomorrow.
Since 1980, Michael Cohn and Molly Stone have shared a love of nature, process, materials and design as well as a commitment to creating artworks of the highest quality and innovation. Their Studio is one of the nation's foremost producers of award winning designer vases, decorative art pieces and one of a kind works of art. Their work has been exhibited throughout the U.S.A., Canada, Europe, Scandinavia, Australia, Japan and South America. Their pieces are included in numerous museum, corporate and private collections worldwide. Visitors to the studios will have the opportunity to watch demonstrations of glass blowing and other techniques that Mr. Cohn and Ms. Stone have perfected during hundreds of thousands of hours and more than 35 years of experience as glass artists.
