Quickly becoming one of Toronto’s hottest young ensembles, Quicksilver (Laura Chambers, flute; Jamie Drake, Tricia Mangat and Dan Morphy, percussion) explores the extensive repertoire written for percussion and flute and creates an evocative sonic landscape using percussion instruments from all over the world with an impressive range of melodic, rhythmic and shimmering sounds, a wide array of flutes from various cultures, and the full family of western flutes. This program of tangos and other fiery music is sure to get you moving in your seats.
