A Digital Storytelling Festival & Educators’ Seminar

August 13-14, 2006

Educators, youth and the general public are invited to this free event on August 13-14, and are asked to join this national campaign to mobilize youth across America to use digital tools to preserve the memories of the men and women who lived through World War II - the defining event of the 20th century.

The COB will be hosting the Monday afternoon workshops in one of its computer labs. Professor Stephen Kwan who is the contact person for this event said that “it is great to be able to work with the Digital Clubhouse Network on this event. It is very encouraging to see young people learn to use technology to help others in the community. It creates social value and benefits all involved.”
