They say December is a time for giving, so what better time to be completely self indulgent and book some of our favourite music makers in the universe. DAT politics played a sold out Club Mofo Live! a couple of years ago and we promoted a sunday show for them the year after. We couldn't really do these Mofofests without having them back again, that would just be insania! Claude, Gaëtan and Vincent formed DAT in France in 1999 and have taken their playful, electronic, punk-spirited, pop goodness to venues worldwide since then. Gaining cult status and building a loyal fanbase along the way, they are now fully fledged Chiptune superstars with recent full length 'Mad Kit' earning them critical praise too. MY TIGER MY TIMING
My Tiger My Timing formed in 2008 in New Cross and named themselves after the Arthur Russell track of the same name. Their Grade A, straight up, classytimez electronic pop is Hot Chip endorsed and recently featured on both Modular and Kitsuné compilations. Skill! It is safe to say that these peoples are well on their way to big tings. Hear dem now or pity yourself forever.

BONJOUR AFRIQUE
Hello Africa are a totalleh mother f-ing awez new band from gay paree and are making their UK debut at Mofofest, OH HAI! Only a few months old, they are a duo made up from former members of Judoboy and Comity. Guillaume also played drums for THE DEATH SET on their french and belgian tour this summer and the influence of his former tour mates, as well as the likes of Health and Wavves, shine through in the best possible way. Rod Thomas is a fully amaze songwriter, producer, remixer and multi-instrumentalist from Wales. He's appeared alongside Sparks, Gotye, Noah & The Whale, Casiokids and Au Revoir Simone amongst others live, as well as reworking tracks for Gotye, James Yuill, Goldie Lookin Chain, Sam Isaac, Run Toto Run and The Very Most. Bardens Boudoir is located at 38 - 44 Stoke Newington Road, Dalston, London N16 7XJ… Travel:The nearest overground is Dalston-Kingsland (two stops from Highbury & Islington tube), Bardens is then a five minute walk up Kingsland Road… Buses 67, 76, 149 and 243 stop on the doorstep. Buses 149, 243 and 76 operate all night… Buses 242, 30, 38, 56 all go to Dalston Junction which is a five minute walk up to Bardens. Buses 38 and 242 operate all night night long baby.

We ran our monthly, club motherfucker live band night for 6 years, It was hella fun and a good time was had by all.
We deaded the regular do in March of this year due to um, life and that but are back on the block for a limited run of Mofofests. These were to be travelling mini festivals showcasing our pick of the bestest in new music but after a bit of searching, our commitment to independant operations and long time keenness to stick it to the man, mean we will be doing all of them at our ex-home of 3 years. Yay! Bardens Boudoir is the motherfucking Daddy of the Dalston scene and probably the best family-run, furniture shop basement cum nightclub/Live Music Venue in the whole of the wide world, probably the universe, innit. Good bless it everyone, and all who sail in it!
