Clothing Drive for Foster Kids May 31, 2010

For Washington and Oregon's 26,000 fast-growing foster children, outgrowing clothing is a real problem. With only a small annual allowance to outfit a child, keeping up with sprouting kids can be an overwhelming task for foster families. In an effort to help, Sleep Country USA is holding its annual Clothing Drive for Foster Kids. The donation of new clothing items can seem like a small contribution, but brings real joy and comfort to foster children and the families that care for them.
Donations of new clothing items, such as shirts, dresses, pants, shorts, onesies, and socks can be made at any Sleep Country USA store. The store hours are M-F 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Donations will be distributed among Sleep Country USA's partner foster care organizations.
