Museum Works Galleries is proud to be the exclusive representative of the art of Trish Grantham.

Trish Grantham?s paintings reflect her emotions and different aspects of her personality. There are paintings which are carefree, and paintings which are sarcastic; paintings which are serious, and paintings which are whimsical and sweet. Her almost cartoon-like characters are inspired by people she has met or friends she has cared for. Like the characters in the works of contemporary Japanese artists such as Yoshitomo Nara and Takashi Murakami, these characters are at once cute, amusing, and accessible.

Yet although her art is based on her own emotions, Trish does not want the viewer to see her image in the art ? she would rather the viewer project the imagery of the painting upon himself. Like Trish Grantham?s constantly changing life, each painting means something different to each viewer.
