Close The School Of The America's Rally November 19, 2006

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 19 - CLOSE THE SCHOOL OF THE AMERICA'S RALLY (ANN ARBOR)
Join Veterans For Peace and the Interfaith Council for Peace and Justice on Sunday, November 19th, 2pm, at Frisinger Park (corner of Stadium and Woodbury Drive) in Ann Arbor to rally in support of the closing of the U.S. Army School of the America's (SOA). This event is being held in solidarity with the annual rally and march being held at the actual SOA in Fort Benning, Georgia on November 20/21. The Ann Arbor event will consist of opening statements at Frisinger Park followed by a short walk to the nearby U.S. Army Reserve Center on Industrial Boulevard, then returning to Frisinger Park.

The U.S. Army School of the America's trains soldiers from Central and South American armies with many graduates of the School having been accused of murder, torture and harassment of the citizens of their home countries.
