Climb For Kids is a non-profit organization that was established in late 2007 whose primary goal is to raise money for fetal syndrome research. We are following a special avenue in fund raising where the mission is to have fun, challenge yourself, and raise awareness for syndromes that are effecting more and more kids each year. Twice as many babies die from twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS) and other fetal syndromes than from SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) each year; yet more people are aware of SIDS.

Starting in the summer of 2008, Climb For Kids (CFK) hopes to raise $100,000 annually by hosting at least one climbing event during the summer. Each year, participants will be encouraged to raise $5,000 or more for a summit attempt of a large peak, preferably in the northwest. This year, Climb For Kids will be partnering with Alpine Ascents to host a climb up the spectacular 14,410 foot Mt. Rainier.
