Classical Flute Virtuoso from India September 29, 2006

Jayaprada Ramamurthy, a young and talented classical flautist from India is visiting and performing at OCC. This wonderful event will have a thematic presentation on Indian 'Raagas' (melodies) and 'Taalas' (rhythm) and a 2-hour concert with on the bamboo flute with traditional Indian percussion instruments. Come and be a part of this colorful celebration of Indian classical music. The concert will also feature Indian musical compositions on the Western Key Flute. Jayaprada is the Director of 'Uttaraa Center for Performing Arts' in Hyderabad, India.
