The Armenian Library and Museum of America (ALMA) will host an eloquent classical music concert on Sunday, June 8, 2008 at 4 p.m. The program, titled “Handel to Khatchaturian: Musings for the Violin,” will feature Armen Ghazarayan on violin and Ani Hovsepian on piano. The distinguished duo will perform a wide range of worldly compositions, including “Sonata” by George Frideric Handel, “Suite in the Olden Style” by Alfred Schnittke and “Praeludium and Allegro (in the style of Pugnani)” by Fritz Kreisler. A number of Armenian pieces and other compositions are also promised that afternoon.

ALMA invites the community to this special event, which is part of ALMA’s ongoing classical concert series. Tickets are $15 each and $10 for ALMA members.
