More and more people are discovering the prophecies and forecasts that exist surrounding the year 2012. Some ignore it; some scoff; many go into deep fear that our lives and our planet are about to blow up in our faces. A few, however, have discovered another possibility: that this era is a call for humanity to shift to a new way of being. For them, this period is introducing humanity to a higher, less fearful state of awareness, encouraging us to function at a new level of harmony in our personal, social, and global lives.
The idea is not new. Ancient mystery schools and modern shamans teach us that the future is constantly calling us into it. They teach that humanity has evolved in epochs, or “worlds,” and that we’re coming to the end of one and beginning another. So, according to this line of thinking, we can say that December 21, 2012 is calling us to make our current way of living go away so it may be replaced with another.
In Make the World Go Away Dr. Ruth L Miller helps us understand why and how this can happen, now. Drawing on her extensive research in culture studies, consciousness studies, and futures studies as well as her own healing process, Dr. Miller guides us through a process that helps us release our past personal “programming” and create the world we were born to experience.
Ruth L Miller, Ph.D. a former futurist and New Thought minister is currently Research Director for The Portal, Center for the Study of Psyche, Science, and Spirit. I studied under Dr. Martha Hicks and received my Certificate of Ordination, Practioner License and my Doctor of Divinity.
I had a church for several years and found that I like teaching instead of preaching. I closed my church after my mother’s death, but kept teaching.
I have been doing channeled counseling for over 20 years and find it very spiritually rewarding.
Classes will be in self discovery. One of the greatest things you can do for yourself is to know who you are and how things and events influence you and why.
There will be a total of 7 classes on Sunday afternoons from 1 - 3 pm.
Classes start March 6th, 2011 and wrap up on April 17th, 2011.
There will be homework and class participation. Each class will be between 40 minutes to 1 hour. Followed by a break and a 20 minute guided meditation. Afterwards there will be a little sharing if you choose to.
Subjects will be:
Metaphysical, what it means to you.
Numerology. (You do your own chart.)
Colors and how they effect your everyday life.
Dreams, what they mean on a personal level.
Healing, laying of the hands.
Reincarnation and how it effects you.
