Sat. April 24th ~ 3 - 5 pm ~ Ann Southcombe ~ Kinship With Animals - The Slide Show. Explore the world of animals with Ann, who has devoted over 40 years working with a wide range of animals and has been seen on “NOVA” and in “National Geographic.” Ann’s greatest hope is that by sharing her experiences, each viewer can leave with a recognition of how close we humans are emotionally and intellectually to non-human animals. And we start treating with more respect and compassion.

Sun. April 25th ~ The Circle of the Radiant Heart. 9 am - 10 am. Rev. Dorothy Leon will lecture on “The Transmuting Violet Flame.”
Rev. Leon will utilize a radiant Violet Flame lamp and an ozone machine to demonstrate the qualities of this “Spiritual Fire.” The Bible depicts it as “the man with the pitcher pouring out Spirit upon all mankind (Luke 22:10; Joel 2:28) for Aquarius.” It is this Divine Energy that will “Quicken” us for the New Age.

First Friday Art Night ~ May 7th ~ 6:30 pm - 8 pm ~ John Taylor~ Live Music.
John Taylor Plays the baroque mandolin in selections from the baroque and renaissance era including selections from Turlough O'Carolan (1670-1738); Johann Quantz (1697-1773) and traditional music from Scotland, Ireland and Germany.
John will also play the Cittern, an 8-string instrument popular in the renaissance. Selections include music from Anthony Holborne's school of Cittern (1597); Adrien LeRoy (1520-1598); Michael Praetorius (1571-1621); and the lovely songs of John Dowland (1562-1626).

Meet Rogue Valley Nature Photographer and Artist Victoria Lane as she
presents her latest photo releases of Rogue Valley images, Canvas
Giclee Prints and Asian Calligraphy.
A table complete with instructional cards, pens and rice paper will be
available for you to try your hand at the art of Asian Calligraphy.
At 7:00pm, Victoria will share a few of her unique techniques and
adventures in communing with Nature's Realm.

Plus ~ Join Nature Photographer, Pat Fisher as he shares exquisite aerial
views of Alaska's Glaciers, taken on recent adventures with Alaskan
bush pilots. In addition, Pat will present his images of Eastern
Oregon's Big Horn Sheep.

NATURE WALKS!!
The beauty and tranquility all around us here in Oregon is at our fingertips~ waiting to be explored!
Once a month, explore new exciting places of rejuvenation.
No cost; pack your lunch.
We will carpool, meeting at nine thirty a.m. every third Sat. in the parking lot of Aquarius books and gifts.
Each trip will be a day trip covering local trails and walking paths. Examples are the Britt garden trials, Limpy Creek botanical sights, possibly some trips to the coastal regions of the state or nearby recreational sights such as trails out of the Applegate, Crater Lake, Diamond Lake e.t.c.
Everyone will be free to walk at their own pace, enjoying the sights and sounds of nature, and will be responsible for their own health and safety. The trips are designed to get people out into the fresh air and enjoy the company of like minded people!
Be ready to relax, play and simply get out into the open outdoors, soaking up the sunshine, warmth, beauty of the trees, healing sounds of the water, also experiencing bird and animal sightings.
A bit of local history and information will be provided, but mostly these trips are designed to provide good company and good conversation.

"THE BLUE GREEN HILLS OF EARTH": 3 Rivers Chorale, spring concert
series, directed by Kate Campbell, will be performed on Saturday, May
22 at 3 p.m. at Immanuel United Methodist Church, 200 W. Watkins
Street in Cave Junction, and on Sunday, May 23 at 7:30 p.m. at Newman
United Methodist Church, 132 NE B in Grants Pass. The 39-member choir
will perform music that pays homage to the beautiful mountains,
meadows and rivers of the Rogue Valley. They will be joined by
musicians Nancy Hodgson, Tim Wallace, and Michelle Le Comte. Admission
is $10.00 general, $5.00 students for the Grants Pass performance.
