Emory Coca-Cola Artist in Residence, Richard Stoltzman is joined by Cecylia Arzewski, violin; Christopher Rex, cello; Laura Gordy, piano; and the Vega String Quartet for a program featuring Messiaen's Quartet for the End of Time and Mozart's Clarinet Quintet. Stoltzman is an Emory Coca-Cola Artist in Residence from Oct. 17-22. Richard Stoltzman, the preeminent jazz, classical, and new music clarinet player is credited with expanding the range of clarinet repertoire. Nebraska-born Stoltzman holds a BA in math and music from Ohio State University and a Master of Music from Yale and is the first wind player to win the Avery Fisher Prize (1986)
