This is the weekend where one of Montgomery County’s most treasured historic sites transforms into a Civil War era encampment and you are invited to live the moment!

Throughout the two-day experience, see hundreds of Civil War reenactors and living historians portray military units and civilian organizations who had vital roles in the War. Lively artillery demonstrations and daily battles punctuate a fascinating look at this moment in our nation’s history. On the Civilian Street, see cooking demonstrations, fashion and sewing, military engineering, and more! Kids can participate in our “Be a Soldier” program on both days where they take the Oath of Allegiance, get a medical exam & learn to march & drill! Fascinating speakers will be on hand both days to delve into many aspects of the War, musicians will entertain with songs and stories of the War and home front; and the Pennypacker mansion will be open for tours throughout the weekend. All ages. Visit our event website: www.civilwarreunion for schedules & information. Handicapped parking & restrooms available. Mansion is handicapped accessible only on first floor.
