The Salem, Oregon commemoration of the Sesquicentennial of the death of Oregon's second US Senator Edward Dickinson Baker at the Civil War Battle of Ball's Bluff, near Leesburg, Virginia.

Multimedia event memorializing the life, times and Civil War death of Colonel Edward Dickinson Baker will take place in the library's auditorium, starting at 1:30pm, exactly 150 years to the minute when our Senator was felled by a sniper's bullet while leading his troops into battle.
