Voices of Downtown Los Angeles Community Residents
Civil Rites is created from a community of diverse individuals from homeless and working poor to non-actors and burgeoning artists.
They come together to listen, learn, and support each other’s voices as they express their hopes, dreams, and fears about living in Los Angeles.
They come together to find the art in their lives and share it with you.

Featuring participants of The Alexandria Workshops:

Carmen Vega, Virgil Wilson.

Program dedicated to the memory of Alexandria Hotel resident and Workshop participant Edward Fleming.
