Civic Centre, Glebe Street
Stoke on Trent, England ST4 1HH

This event has been organised by the Lord Mayor's Office/Member Support Team in order to celebrate Armed Forces Day on Saturday 26 June 2010. It will take place in Stoke Town Centre and will be supported by members of the public from the City.

The civic celebration will be hosted by the City's Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress (Councillor Denver Tolley and Mrs Lynne Tolley), and will feature a parade by all sectors of the armed forces community - from currently serving troops to service families, and from veterans to new recruits.

This will be the second Armed Forces Day, and followed the great success of the City`s Veterans Day. Spectators will hopefully line the streets to thank members of our Armed Forces as well as cheer on the Mercian Regiment's - Watchman 5, the Staffordshire Bull who will lead the parade.

It will be an opportunity for the City to show their gratitude and support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community. The day will be kindly supported by armed forces cadets and veterans associations from all areas of the military, and their involvement is greatly appreciated.
