Visionary architect Professor Jan Gehl will discuss his recommendations for Sydney to make it a more liveable, Green, Global and Connected city in this free City Talk on Wednesday 16 April.

A key aspect of the City's Sustainable Sydney 2030 Vision is to make the city a livelier, more engaging place for people of all ages. Jan Gehl will describe with energy and vision his ideas for a more pedestrian and people friendly city centre.

In conjunction with City staff, Pat Fensham, Director of SGS Economics & Planning and Rod Simpson, Simpson + Wilson Architects played an integral role developing Sustainable Sydney 2030. They will also give an overview of the final draft vision in this first City Talk for 2008.
