Its about bock not Bach. And this year, its about BIGGER and better with more Biffs! Its the 17th annual City Pages Beer Festival, one of the longest-running events of its kind in the Midwest, Saturday, May 30, 2009. Open to the public, this outdoor beer sampling event features a variety of the best domestic and imported beers available at metro area MGM locations, live music and great people-watching!

Yes, weve moved! The City Pages Beer Festival has moved downtown near the Theater District! Come sample our new, larger home just off Hennepin & 10th Street in Minneapolis (one block south of the Orpheum Theater). More space, more flavor and more restrooms!

Advance tickets are $25, available at select MGM locations and online at www.citypages.com/beerfest. Tickets will be available at the door the night of the event for $28. An $8 designated driver ticket is also available. Admission includes all beer samples and live musical entertainment.

Compare the taste of a low carb beer to the not-so low. Try the latest seasonal summer brews from some of your favorites along with the latest lemonades and other malternatives - the experts will be on hand to share the facts and dispel the fiction about all of their products.

A portion of proceeds from the tasting will benefit the St. Paul Jaycees. The festival takes place downtown just off Hennepin Avenue & 10th Street in Minneapolis (one block south of the Orpheum Theater).
