Planning for this event was a little late but with thanks to the City Council and the local Business Improvement Group (BIG) we are now ready to celebrate Armed Forces Day in Lincoln. Organisations taking part are: - Royal Naval Association, Submariners Association, Royal Signals, Royal British Legion, SSAFA Forces Help, Royal Air Force Association, War Widows Association, Army Cadet Band, LExSA, National Malay Borneo Veterans Association (NMBVA), and the Women’s Royal Army Corps Association in City Square. Whilst in the Cornhill we will have 3 Royal Anglian Regt. TA, RAF Regiment Auxiliary, Royal Lincs. & Royal Anglian Regt. Association and the Armed Forces Information Office. The Mayor of Lincoln, Cllr David Gratrick will open the event at 10:30 in City Square.
