Join the Merola Opera Program for "City Lights & Brights Stars" on Saturday, April 30 from 6-9 PM at The St. Regis San Francisco. A classic cocktail soiree, the event will highlight the evening's stunning location at the St. Regis which overlooks the lights of downtown San Francisco. The benefit will feature a sumptuous cocktail buffet with a hosted bar, and a new approach to the famed Merola Silent Auction. The evening will conclude with a concert in the Grand Ballroom by the Program's own "bright stars," the San Francisco Opera Adler Fellows.

Ticket prices will start at $125 for admission to the cocktail buffet and hosted bar, bidding in the Silent Auction, and the Adler Fellows Concert. Higher priced ticket levels will include additional benefits, such as admission to an after-party dessert reception, early bidding on select Signature Events, and valet parking.

Proceeds from the evening will support the Merola Opera Program. An independent nonprofit, Merola is an internationally recognized leader in the opera community providing invaluable training and financial support to the next generation of young opera talent.

Mingle with art lovers and opera fans, sample delectable foods, bid on exclusive items and support young artist training all at the stunning St. Regis San Francisco.

* A look behind the scenes at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival including a private lunch with Oregon Shakespeare Festival stars and a backstage tour of the festival.
* A private tour of the Bartholomew Park Winery complete with a magnum of 2006 Merlot and case of 2006 Bartholomew Park estate vineyard Zinfandel
