City in Question, Past, Present and Future March 11, 2009

Friday, March 13 and Saturday, March 14: City in Question, Past, Present and Future is a workshop is organized by a group of UofT graduate students sponsored by the Jackman Humanities Institute. Eve Blau, (Architecture, Harvard) is keynote speaker on March 12 with Research between Theory and Practice (4:15-6pm); Neil Smith (Anthropology, CUNY) is keynote speaker on March 13 with Urban Revolution (4:15-6pm). March 13 panel sessions include Locating the Urban Present, Inventing the Present Through Romanticizing the Past?, and Urban Future, Future City.
