Rochester, Michigan based rock band CITIZEN ZERO will debut their aggressive yet melodic alternative rock sound at The Pike Room (inside The Crofoot Ballroom) on Saturday, February 26, 2011 in downtown Pontiac. Doors are at 8 pm, tickets are $8 and available at the door. Local rockers Tripp ā€œNā€ Dixie and the Kent Koller Trio open this ALL AGES show.
Citizen Zero is comprised of singer/songwriter Josh Mayle on lead vocals, and three very talented brothers: Matt (guitar), Greg (bass) and John (drums) Dudley. The Dudleys are part of a longtime musical family (dad Roger is a guitarist and encouraged his sons along a musical path from a very early age), and at just 16 years old, John Dudley is already a drummer to be reckoned with, having trained under current Ozzy drummer Tommy Clufetos. The Dudleys experienced near-tragedy in 2008, when Greg endured a crippling snowmobile accident that left him with little use of his left arm ā€“ but John and Matt refused to move on musically without him, and Greg has learned to modify his bass playing to remain part of the group.
