Circus of Saints December 18, 2007

The Society of Art Rock is pleased to announce that the Circus of Saints,
playing acoustic bass, drums, oboe, saxophone, euphonium, trombone, bassoon,
electric fretless Piccolo bass, and voice will showcase their unique mix of
composed and improvisational music at Jammin Java in Vienna, VA at 8:00 PM.
Tickets are $10.

Circus of Saints (www.circusofsaints.com) is the name used by up to 20
musicians from states including New York, Maryland, Virginia and Florida,
who write, record, and perform, simple and complex songs meant to spread
melody, harmony, beats and ideas. They share improvisation-driven musical
wackiness in a way that brings the audience in on some kind of big inside
musical joke, using an enormous musical palette and taking big chances. But
it's their happy accidents of groove, melody, and emotion, created on the
spot, which make you want to come back again and again. They are among the
DC area's most creative and entertaining players.
