A quirky, unpretentious comedy, Circle Mirror Transformation won this year's OBIE for Best American Play and was nominated for a Drama Desk Award. In small town Vermont, four very different locals and one teacher meet at the community center for a spirited acting class. Their theatre exercises - often hysterical, sometimes moving, and always inventive - lead to real life openness as all five participants learn more about each other than they bargained for.
