My buds, Stoney and Tim, have been working very hard with the guys who created Mystery Science Theater on their new DVDs and they are also going to premiere a live show at the LA film festival. I think it will be a hilarious blast.

Tickets are $12 and from what I hear, it is the number one selling show at the festival so far. Let's get tix now.

Featuring: Joel Hodgson, Trace Beaulieu, J. Elvis Weinstein, Frank Conniff, Mary Jo Pehl

Named by TV Guide as one of the best cult TV shows ever, Mystery Science Theater 3000 premiered in 1988 and quickly grew to become a fan phenomenon, hailed as the most original and hilarious show on TV. Now, 20 years later, comedian and MST3K's creator Joel Hodgson has reunited with fellow Satellite of Love alums Trace Beaulieu, J. Elvis Weinstein, Frank Conniff, and Mary Jo Pehl to form Cinematic Titanic. In this new comedic venture, the five—seen once again in silhouette in front of some of the worst B-movies you've never heard of—let loose with a rapid-fire running commentary of wisecracks, jokes, and non-sequiturs aimed at the screen and each other.

For this special live performance, the Cinematic Titanic crew will skewer Roger Corman's 1959 non-classic The Wasp Woman. Replete with bad acting, bad dialogue, and oh-so-bad special effects, it's the perfect comic fodder for Hodgson and his companions, who will turn this perfectly dreadful movie into an absolutely delightful evening.
