CCM's Music07 festival gets an added boast by some great local composers performing a post festival concert at Rohs Street. The Realtime Composers will highlight this evening and will host a couple jam session for all visiting musicians to join in later in the week.

The Cincinnati RealTime Composers was founded at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music in 2005 under the instruction of Alan Bern. Moving from individual impulses to complex forms, the class sought to expose classical musicians to group improvisation. Now a regularly performing ensemble, the group has performed at a variety of venues, from concert halls to cafes. In December of 2006, the group presented their work at the first ever conference of the International Society for Improvised Music in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
