Churchill began as singer/songwriter Tim Bruns and musician friend Michael Morter teamed up with a passion to create relevant music rooted in acoustic instruments, redemptive lyrics and refreshingly good melodies. The band was fully formed after the addition of piano, bass and drums to the already listenable guitar-mandolin duo. Since their debut performance in May 2009, Churchill has been gaining momentum and turning heads in Denver. On Sept. 29 with You Me and Apollo, JJ Matott And the Arctic and on Sept. 30 with Barcelona and Navy.
