Brisingr is the much-anticipated third installment in the Inheritance cycle by Christopher Paolini. Inspired by Tolkien, E.R. Eddison, Beowulf, and Bruce Coville, Paolini started writing his first book of epic fantasy, Eragon, at the age of fifteen. In Brisingr, Eragon finds himself bound by a tangle of promises he may not be able to keep.
