The Christopher Cains Dance Company announces their 9th New York City Season program titled,"SPIRITS." Renown Artistic Director Christopher Caines choreographed the piece in memory and dedication of mezzo-soprano Alexandra Montano (1961-2007), a friend and colleague who formerly sang with the dance company. This poignant piece aims to celebrate Montano's life and to bring a positive spiritual uplift throughout the performance. This Halifax-born choreographer established his dance company in 2000.
