Are you looking for a place to prepare for Christmas?

Advent is the season for reflecting on what we long for. Short days and long nights draw us into darkness and cold... tree leaves die back and fall away, leaving us to contemplate the bare and essential branches that remain. Before electricity and mass marketing made constant light and liveliness possible during winter, people's lives aligned with Nature's call to a quiet time of inner work. Nature still offers this invitation and Advent is the church's path for deepening our connection to Nature's wisdom.

Join us at Macrina where we welcome inter-faith couples, atheists, families and gays to explore their spirituality together. We are a new Episcopal community seeking God through honest questions, music, prayer and friendship. Children are invited to work on a Christmas project led by a local architect.

Dec. 6 - 3pm: Join us for bread making, music and meditation.

Dec. 6 - 5pm: Christmas stories and hymns for adults and children.

Dec. 13- 5pm: Candle lit service of listening for our authentic inner voice.
Dec. 20 - 5pm: Special service of music and healing with recording artist Lydia Ruffin.
Dec. 24 - 4pm: Christmas Eve service and pageant.
