Christmas Lounge Bar Party December 13, 2008

2008 has been another strong year for music and there are many new bands that have met local acclaim at The Lounge Bar.

Three new bands that we met properly this year are playing:

Dred - A young, heavy band that have constantly performed consistently and at a high standard.

Ben & Amy - One of the most-talked about discoveries of the year, this group of musicians create a Mixed Genre all of their own. Great to catch live.

Stroke Of Midnight To close the night, a band that wowed the audience with some great covers and with some little-known gems: they are well worth a listen to!

Don't forget too that there are lots of local bands that will be interested in what the locals think of them. If you fancy having your say it's easy:

- Send a message on Facebook or MySpace at the appropriate pages.
- Fill in a form at either Astra in Market St, Alton or The Lounge Bar itself at any upcoming gig.
- Send an e-mail to the Mailing List.

Deadline for entries is Monday 8th December. Only one entry per person. Include your e-mail address if you would like to be added to our mailing list for free info on what is coming up soon.

The party itself is on Saturday 13th December, starts at 7.30pm. Entry is £2-we just want to cover hall costs and have a good party. Lots of prizes and fun too, end this year with a bang!
