Austin-based guitarist and singer Chris Duarte plays a rhythmic style of Texas blues-rock that draws on elements of jazz, blues and rock 'n' roll. His sound has often been compared with Johnny Winter and the late Stevie Ray Vaughn. Eric Sardinas concentrates exclusively on the slide guitar, coupling modern sound influences with those from the late '70s. His debut album, 'Treat Me Right,' was released in 1999.
