WHAT:
This October, Dallas’ own witches, ghost and superheroes will be scouring the city in search of tricks and treats and, now, moms can easily make Halloween healthier without being booed by their kids. Chocolate Milk: the Official Drink of Halloween is a healthy treat in disguise with the chocolaty taste that kids adore, and the calcium and other essential nutrients that moms can feel good about. This Official Drink of Halloween is a healthy treat in disguise but behind its tasty chocolaty costume, chocolate milk is packed with calcium and other essential nutrients that growing kids need at Halloween or any time of year.

According to a recent study of American beverage consumption, milk is the primary beverage source of three of the five ‘nutrients of concern’ for kids as identified in the Dietary Guidelines for Americans: calcium, magnesium, and potassium making it a nutritious treat for Halloween and beyond. Studies have shown that kids who drink flavored milk tend to drink fewer sweetened soft drinks and fruit drinks, which are the No. 1 source of calories and added sugars in a child’s diet.

The Chocolate Milk: The Official Drink of Halloween tour will appear at Halloween monster happenings in 25 cities across the nation.
